The Sunrise WAP site was developed by m.Net in response to the Seven Network’s desire to expand their Sunrise online presence into the mobile space. This is an off-deck WAP site which derives traffic from the Yahoo!7 WAP portal.

Sunrise WAP contains a number of key features extending the online experience including:

• a preview of the next show;

• a wrap up of today's show;

• an area where viewers can participate in the Sunrise Family;

• Fact Sheets from the show;

• Recipes which viewers can take with them on mobile;

• key feature articles around bigger events which take place on Sunrise from time to time.

Sunrise WAP was launched on 30 January 2006 after a one month build. It was given a new facelift in January 2007 to bring it into line with new handset developments.

Ensuring that the site provides a consistently good experience across all handsets and all operators requires in-depth knowledge of handset profiling and mobile WAP site usability.  In addition, the content contained within this site is obtained from Sunrise's internal content management system, requiring m.Net's systems integration expertise to facilitate automated delivery of regular content into the site in order to keep the site fresh.
