Horden joined m.Net in 2001 as Project Director and was responsible for a number of the company’s early infrastructure and mobile application initiatives. Appointed as CEO in early 2003, he has been responsible for building and leading an outstanding team that has transformed m.Net into Australia’s leading Mobile Solutions Company. Horden’s leadership skills were honed in the Australian Defence Force, where his early career culminated in command of the Australian submarine HMAS Sheean. Horden is a Director of Eccosphere International. |
Barry PorterChief Financial Officer BAcc, MBA, CPA |
Barry has been with m.Net from its inception and has been responsible for all financial planning and analysis as well as contributing significantly to the strategic planning and direction of the company. As the CFO and Company Secretary he is responsible for all financial, commercial, legal and compliance issues. Barry has had more than 20 years’ experience in business administration, finance and IT organisations, including senior positions in the airline, transport and education industries. His experience with corporate finance and planning and the administration of complex businesses has been an important factor in m.Net’s success. Barry has an undergraduate degree in Accounting, is a Certified Practicing Accountant and has a Masters degree in Business Administration. He also sits on the Board of the Australian Dance Theatre and is Company Secretary for Eccosphere International. |
Bob HumphreysChief Operations Officer BEng, MBA |
Bob joined m.Net in January 2005 to head up the Operations team. As Chief Operations Officer, Bob is responsible for the delivery of m.Net’s operational commitments to our clients, including the delivery and support of Products and Services as we develop and field exciting new applications across the mobile space. Bob also carries responsibility for Business Development within the company focused on identifying new opportunities with Carrier clients, and incorporating the growth of existing business lines. Bob has more than 18 years of experience heading up technical teams in challenging environments in operational, development and support roles. His expertise has been sought internationally and his assignments have taken him to Canada and the United States. |

Scott joined m.Net in May 2007 and is responsible for driving the product development, marketing and sales functions. Scott’s ability to identify and exploit new market opportunities is essential to our ongoing innovation and differentiation in this dynamic market place. Scott has more than 15 years experience in the IT&T and New Media industries and has led many high profile new product launches in Australia for companies such as News Digital Media and Singtel Optus. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Computing Science) as well as an MBA (International Business) and is recognized as a Certified Practicing Marketer by the Australian Marketing Institute. |

Lui has been an integral part of the m.Net team since June 2003. Lui has extensive experience in software engineering having worked both locally and internationally in the industry for over 12 years for leading technology brands including BAE Systems, RLM and Motorola. As m.Net’s Chief Technology Officer he is responsible for m.Net’s technology and software development strategy. His ability to deliver complex projects under tight timelines is well proven. Lui has a Bachelor of Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Adelaide. |
Dr Marisa Maio MackayDirector of Research BBus, MBus, PhD |
Marisa is responsible for the development and integration of research into the role that m.Net plays as Australia’s leading mobile marketing solutions company. She has been involved in designing, implementing and managing research projects that provide real insights for clients across a range of industries for more than a decade and in the mobile-related space for the last five years. During her time with m.Net, Marisa has carried out research for a range of clients including media organisations, advertising agencies, local telecommunications carriers, government and universities. Together with AIMIA she manages the annual Australian Mobile Phone Lifestyle Index Survey. She also instigated and manages Australia’s involvement in the annual global Wireless Mobile Data Survey. She has a PhD in Marketing and Information Systems in the area of ‘Forecasting Market Demand for Breakthrough Products’ and a Masters by research in the area of branding. She is also a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Adelaide and presents at local and international industry and academic conferences. |
