Brand Response

Brand Response is a simple yet powerful direct-response channel for brands via premium or standard SMS.

A pre-defined response is delivered to a mobile via SMS message when a keyword is sent to an SMS number. This may be used to respond to the consumer with product information, terms and conditions, contact details, service information or offer details. The SMS response to the consumer can contain the URL for an advertorial or promotional mobile site that is able to offer a richer user experience to the consumer and provide them with information to the device they carry anywhere, anytime.

Brand Response is ideal for print executions, outdoor advertising, and transit advertising.

For our US clients, we will shortly offer this service on a dedicated Common Short Code (74908) which will comply with the relevant carrier certification and MMA regulatory guidelines. Specifically:

  • Brand Response is a standard-rate service which means that we do not charge end-users a premium fee for message delivery, although standard carrier rates may apply

  • Brand Response is supported by the standard customer support features such as responding to the keyword “Help” with relevant service information in the SMS

  • The service is not a subscription service – it is a consumer-demand service only
